The school offers a comprehensive range of courses to its students, including an International Baccalaureate program (IB), Specialist High Skills Major programs (SHSM) for Hospitality, Health & Wellness, and Sports, Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP), and many more.

Port Credit Secondary School is one of Mississauga’s best high schools located in the south central part of the city. There are currently 1335 students enrolled at the high school.

Commonly referred to by its nickname— Marcies, the school is also known as one of the largest high schools in Mississauga with approximately 1800 students. The school offers a wide range of programs to its students including, the Advanced Placement program (AP),

Lorne Park Secondary School is a top-rated public high school located in the southwestern part of Mississauga. With approximately 875 students enrolled in the high school, Lorne Park is considered to be a prominent high school in the region of Peel because of its academic heritage.

9. OUR LADY OF MT. CAMEL SECONDARY SCHOOL
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Secondary School is a catholic high school located in the northwest of Mississauga. There are approximately 1700 students enrolled into the high school, making it one of the largest high schools in the city of Mississauga.
There is a wide range of programs offered at Our Lady of Mount Camel, including a Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program for Information and Communications Technology and an Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) for skilled trades.
10. AL-RISALA ACADEMY
Al-Risala Academy is a fully accredited independent private Islamic high school in Mississauga. The school is considered to be one of the best in Mississauga.
The school is regularly inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education, and several academic programs are offered by the school to prepare its students for post-secondary education. The school follows the Ontario Curriculum and students acquire a ONTARIO SECONDARY SCHOOL DIPLOMA (OSSD) after completion of their high school studies.

Streetsville Secondary School is one of the best high schools in Mississauga managed by the Peel District School Board. There are approximately 940 students enrolled into the high school.
Streetsville offers it students a wide range of programs and modern day facilities, classrooms and work spaces to prepare its student for their academic journey after high school.
The school also offers lots of extra-curricular clubs and activities at the school, including clubs for art, drama, music and many more.
12. IONA CATHOLIC SECONDARY SCHOOL
Iona Catholic Secondary School is a Catholic high school located in the southwest part of Mississauga. There are approximately 750 students enrolled at the school and the school is managed by the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board.
Students in the 9th grade are allowed to enroll in one of five arts discipline courses— Drama, Instrumental Music, Visual Art, or Vocal; and an opportunity to enroll in the Regional Arts and Culture Program (RAP) through an auditioning process. Students who are successfully enrolled continue in this program until the completion of grade 12. The students are offered a Regional Arts and Culture Program Certificate in addition to their Ontario Secondary School Diploma after graduation.

13. ST. JOSEPH SECONDARY SCHOOL
St. Joseph Secondary school is a Catholic high school located in the north-central part of Mississauga. Commonly reffered to as St. Joe’s, this high school is also a large and attractive school, with approximately 1500 students enrolled at the school.
The school offers an extensive number of programs for its students, including Advanced Placement program (AP) for gifted students, a Specialist High Skills Majors program (SHSM) in Business and Transportation.
St. Joe’s is also regarded as one of the most beautiful schools in Mississauga and the Peel region, because of its modern architecture, well organized classrooms and spacious work spaces for its students. Several extracurricular activities and sporting events are also available in the school.
