Hello guys, it's good to be here again.

I have a nephew that stays with me and he is really interested in fashion. I want to know if anyone here is good at fashion and have good experience in the world of fashion. It will be nice to know how it works. Will he just be drawing sketches or it is more than that?

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi, I am not good at fashion but my Pastor's son, who happened to be one of my closest friends, has vast knowledge about fashion. He is a fashion expert. His career in fashion began in 2014 and he is so tactical in sketches and designs.

Presently, he is working for Leatherchase and he has honed technical skills in pattern-making, draping, and sewing.

Fashion is a nice niche if I may say. It involves a lot of creativity and attention to details. If you are so skilled in this field, you will make it really good.

It is more than designs and sketching, it involves draping, sewing, among others.

I strongly support this for your nephew provided he is ready to learn and be creative.

I'd also like to learn something about this topic; for me, this whole topic is riveting. Fashion is a part of our everyday life, and we can't deny its importance and influence on us. Hope your little sister will like the topic and be interested in it even further. You can start learning about types of fabrics and what they are made from. The second thing I can advise you to learn is different dress codes and styles. She needs to know how to differentiate things into categories. You can show her various clothes, from H&M dresses to prom tuxedos. Be sure that you name styles correctly to avoid confusing her from the beginning.
