Hi Everyone. I recently came accross this site grantme.ca. They are a company who connect scholarships offers to students. Has anybody heard or been part of GrantMe? because I wanna make sure that they aren't scammers before I sign up for it.

Also, any ideas on the price they charge to join?

I joined GrantMe last fall after seeing their ad on Instagram. They were such a huge help for me. They are absolutely not a scam. They gave me a customized list of scholarships that they assessed I was a good candidate for, almost all of which I had not found on the scholarship search engines I had been using. They then worked with me on all my applications, providing edits and feedback to help improve them.

I was also provided me with one-on-one interview coaching to help me prepare for the scholarship interviews that I had. They know what the selection committees are looking for in your essays and what the interview processes are like, so they can help you showcase your best self to put forward.

If you ask me, I will say don't join them.. their main goal is to make money off of you. Whether you get the scholarships or not is up to the work you end up putting in for yourself. Registering a free account online with Scholarships Canada and 99 scholarships is much better option.

I once tried them but they wanted all of my information like phone number, name and school. Why is this needed? I just want to learn how to get scholarships, but don't want my information out there.

they probably sell your info and that's how they pay for the scholarships

I have 2 friends that won scholarships with them and my sis applied but didn’t win any. It’s all about luck still.

I will say Its not a scam but the help they provide is not the best either. Their focal point is based on students that are in British Columbia or those applying to the uni of BC, maybe this is because their company is in BC. One thing for sure is- there are lots of applications that wont come out successful, but they only publish the successful ones on their website. However, scholarships offers from universities will always be your best bet because they are more legit and there is a high chance of you winning them.

Hmm university scholarships seems much more competitive though. Do you know the criteria universities follow in selecting the winners of their scholarships?

Most times, each universities provides their own criteria used in selecting the winner and I guess sometime they just pick randomly too but not sure.

How about 99 scholarships? I've tried applying for scholarships there for international student but the list they have doesn't change at all.

I have read a lot of info on Schoolarhips when I were looking for university lat year and didn't heard about it, think that you can find a lot of really more profitable variants. I have found my on listsofscholarships. On this website there are all the best scholarships on almost all of specializations. Think that everyone can find here the ideal one for himself. And don't be afraid to make a mistake, you van to retry every year. Wish you good luck.
