Hello friends, It is my pleasure to join this forum. My name is Nath and I am 36 years old. I want to enrol for MBA in one of the Canadian colleges but the consultant told me that it will be so difficult to secure a student visa on college i20's. That means that only an admission from a Canadian university will add value to my visa application. Let me make it clear that I have approximately 9 years gap between now and the year I graduated.

Kindly help me with your suggestions and advice.

Thank you.

Thank you for your swift reply. I studied Civil engineering at one of the European schools and graduated with a Second Class Honour (Lower Division. Also, I have a MSc in Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Ohhh, the last part of your post might make it hard for you to get a visa. Normally, CIC prefers to offer admission to people with progression in their education. It will be hard to already have a masters degree and still apply for a Masters program in Canada. CIC will think that you want to find your way into Canada and won't return to your country when you finish your studies.

As for MBA, it is still possible provided you can prove to CIC, beyond doubt, that you really need the MBA. It will be easier if you are in a managerial position in your company. However, be ready to tell them why you want to study for an MBA in Canada and not in Europe. In fact, they might even want to know if you have children and want to go with them.

It is possible but be ready to answer a lot of questions.

To be honest I think that there is nothing hard for both, for each the process is easy and there are only a few steps to do. The only hard thing is to wait for approval because it really takes a lot of time. I really can't understand why it takes so much for the email to come, I don't blame them, those people are great and very kind, but in comparison with other countries, the process takes too much time. For example visapath.ca where my sister applied, sent the response and ready documents in less than a week. That is really fast and qualitative work.
